About Us

Welcome to The Original Grain Company

An established business founded in 2016 by Ryan New in Cape Town, has now grown into a significant player in the Agricultural Space in Africa.

With offices also located in Johannesburg, Gaborone, Harare and Dar Es Salaam. We specialize in the movement of product throughout the Africa Continent.

Originally starting with a large selection of commodities, the company now focusses on a few core channels, which they source, own or grow themselves. We have the capacity to move large volumes both by road and sea freight.

The company is well positioned to operate not as an Agent but as the owner or direct purchaser of the product. This eliminates the chain in the negotiation process and ensures best price.

We are driven by a passion to support local farmers, empower and uplift them in the broader Free State Province. Working closely with communities we source direct from farm.

  • To trade only in the highest quality agricultural products
  • To supply crops and products at market related prices
  • To supply these products to our clients both efficiently and promptly
  • To employ competent people, regardless of race or gender
